There was a six-year span earlier in my life when much of what seemed significant happened inside, or within a few blocks of a cinema. The Princess Theatre, on Whyte Avenue in Old Strathcona, to be exact. The Princess anchored a cool old neighbourhood near the university in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Love Klaus Kinski. Kasper Hauser (Every man for himself and God against all), Nosferatu and Burden of Dreams. But Aguirre is a masterpiece. Love your sketches and your insights.

Your color-work, Ken! Talk about a coat of many colors..
Well, now I really want to watch this movie!
Coming soon to a Luxembourg art-house cinema near you . . .
An inspired painting! How the tarnished helmet reflects the colors of the coat! The strength of the face. Wow.
The iconic scenes, and photograph. Have long haunted me. It felt good to try.
